How to order an online gift voucher:

  1. Fill in the fields and select the desired amount.
  2. Click on “Order gift voucher”.
  3. The hotel will send a payment link to your email within 24 hours. (Remember, payment must be made within 24 hours from the time you receive the payment link, otherwise the booking will be cancelled).
  4. Once payment is received, the gift voucher will be sent to your email.

Hotel Garni is becoming part of Milling Hotels

On 1 October 2026, Hotel Garni, along with Hotel Svendborg, Hotel Ærø and Hotel Fredericia, will become part of the Funen-based, family-owned hotel chain Milling Hotels.

After nearly 50 years of hotel operations, Halberg is passing the baton to an experienced hotel business with strong roots in Funen and values that are close to our own.

For our guests, the change of ownership primarily means that the familiar will continue. Existing bookings and agreements remain valid as before, and you will continue to meet the same members of staff and experience the hospitality you know.

With Milling Hotels, we will continue to safeguard and develop the hotel's local roots and close relationship with the town and the local area. At the same time, we become part of a larger hotel community comprising 16 hotels, which provides new opportunities for the hotel's continued development.

We look forward to the new chapter – and to continuing to welcome you.

Hotel Svendborg and Hotel Garni will be closed from Sunday 15th December to Sunday 29th December 2024 at 12:00.

During this period, we offer accommodation at Hotel Ærø (without breakfast).
